Because of the environmental problem, people are constantly searching for alternative methods to produce electricity, avoiding the use of fossil fuels. The present invention provides a solution to produce electricity from an alternative source, thermal energy. The invention is a low-power thermoelectric generator that takes advantage of the change in the temperature of the external environment, converting thermal energy into electrical energy.
This technology has been developed by a multidisciplinary team of the UTPL (Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja) where a patent application has been filed. The objective of the company represented is to find business partners interested in co-developing or licensing the patent of this invention to bring this innovation to the market.
