Miguel Estruch
Co-Founder
Miguel is an innovation and entrepreneurship geek. With a BSc in Biotechnology and an MSc in Entrepreneurship and Business Design.
Miguel started up and has been in the founding team of 5 start-ups and companies in different fields, ranging from MedTech, CleanTech and AI.
He has also experience in consulting,
Now, besides co-managing Viromii, Miguel helps cleantech start-ups as a business coach in Climate-Kic.
Vicente Barberá
Co-Founder
Vicente has a strong background in life sciences and innovation management. He has a BSc in Biotechnology, an MSc in Intellectual Capital Management and an MBA in the pharma industry.
He has experience in the Pharma and MedTech industry, having worked for Eli Lilly and Company, in the IP department of Philips and as business developer and market analyst in Ondosis, an Astrazeneca Spin-out.
Apart from co-managing Viromii, Vicente regularly organizes trainings about innovation and tech-transfer in several universities and business schools.
Laura Núñez

Laura is a forward-thinking industrial engineer. Her passion for business development and project management lead her to specialise in Marketing, Interactive Technologies, and Business Administration.
Laura describes herself as ambitious, driven, and enthusiastic. Her diverse background expands from industries such as mining, public transportation technologies, and advertising. Laura’s career started in Colombia and looking forward to broadening horizons she then moved to Spain.
Now, as part of Viromii, she is engaged with her contribution to Business Analysis and Project Management.
Noelia Mas
senior project manager - biotech & health
After her BSc in Biotechnology, Noelia continued working as a researcher at her local university and KU Leuven, but she soon realised that the lab bench was not for her, and started looking for other ways to help the research effort.
That is how she decided to enter into the Tech-Transfer world and studied an MSc in Biosciences Innovation; in fact, she finished her MSc with a Master Thesis evaluating Tech-transfer efficiency among different biomedicine research institutions.
Now, at Viromii, Noelia works as Project Manager and trains the new members of the team.
Begoña Iborra
project manager - cleantech & sustainability
Her curiosity about genes and science led her to study Biotechnology at the University of Valencia. She was a researcher at the IVIA (Valencian Institute of Agrarian Research) when she realized that her proactive and extroverted personality didn´t fit with the laboratory work.
Then she studied an MBA focused on agri-food companies and that is where she learned about consulting work applied to technology transfer and she found her vocation: the valorization of all that technology developed in the laboratory.
Without leaving her passion for science, at Viromii, Begoña works on technical textiles, pharma and agri-food sectors.
Pablo Lago
project manager - energy & chemistry
Pablo studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
After finishing a training course in Industrial Robotics Programming, he traveled around several European countries working for relevant companies in aeronautic, logistics, and automotive sectors programming PLCs until arriving at Valencia.
During the pandemic and tired of traveling around, Pablo decided to study an MSc In Chemical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
At Viromii, he works on projects for the chemical and energy sectors.
Nuria Bas
project manager - pharma & agri-food
Nuria is a Biotechnologist with a Master’s degree in Quality Management and Food Safety. She has participated in several research projects with the University Institute of Food Engineering for Development of the UPV.
Here, she studied alternatives for petrochemical materials for food packaging as well as new waste management methods, which allowed her to gain knowledge in sustainability and circular economy. These investigations awarded her the UCV Innovation Project Award in 2021.
She considers herself disciplined, detailed-oriented and a team-player. At Viromii, Nuria works on business development and market analysis in the agri-food, pharma and biotechnological industries.
Elisa Sáenz
project manager - Biomedical & Health
She has a degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Translational Biomedical Research. After finishing, Elisa spent 3 months doing an internship in a research laboratory in Berlin with the Erasmus+ Scholarship. When she returned to Spain, she wanted to try other ways to support scientific research in the field of technology transfer and innovation.
She considers herself passionate, committed and always willing to learn.
At Viromii, Elisa works on a variety of projects for the pharmaceutical, biotech and agri-food sectors.
Carlos Gredilla
projecct manager - Industrial Processes & engineering
Carlos is a biotechnologist and is currently studying the Master in Research and Development in Biotechnology and Biomedicine at the UV. Since he was a child he felt a big interest towards science, but in the course of his degree studies he realised that research was not his place to be. Therefore, he decided to focus more on bringing research closer to the market and society in general.
He considers himself a non-conformist, curious and a team leader, apart from having a great passion for languages.
At Viromii, Carlos works in business development and market research in the chemical and biotechnology sector, as well as in process engineering.
Ana Carlota de la Cruz
project manager - Agro & Environment
Ana Carlota is an Agricultural and Bioenvironmental Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. During her time at university, she specialized in Natural Resources, earning the award for the Best Final Degree Project. She has participated in collaborative scholarships focused on remote sensing and agricultural research, which have fueled her interest in innovation and sustainability. She considers herself hard-working, curious and resilient. At Viromii, Ana works on a variety of projects for different sectors, especially agri-food, environmental and biotechnology.
Lola Pinar
Marketing, communication & Business Development
Lola has a degree in Administration & Finance and in Business Administration & Management at the UCAM (Universidad Católica de Murcia).
During those years she obtained an award for the best academic record and looking for the next step she studied dietetics and entered the world of Marketing through several specialization courses.
Her curiosity, diligence and commitment led her to take her first jobs in the agribusiness sector where she found her place and went on to obtain an MBA in Management and Marketing of agri-food companies at the UPV (Universidad Politécnica de Valencia).
At Viromii, she works as Marketing and Communication Manager, always open to new challenges and knowledge.
