What data may be processed

Depending on how you interact with Viromii, we may process identification and contact data, professional information, the content of communications and documents that you voluntarily send to us. If you submit a CV or job application, we may also process the information contained in that documentation.

The website infrastructure may generate technical records that may include IP address, browser or device information, date and time of access and security events. These records are used only for operation, security, fraud prevention and technical diagnosis.

The theme also loads web fonts through Google Fonts. When the browser requests these resources, Google may receive technical connection data such as the IP address and browser information. This use supports the consistent visual presentation of the website and is based on Viromii's legitimate interest in providing a usable corporate website. Any international transfer connected with a technology provider will be subject to the safeguards described below.

If you expressly accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 may process online identifiers and technical or usage information about how the website is used. The analytics tag is not requested from Google before consent is granted, and Viromii does not send email addresses or the terms typed into the technology search field to Google Analytics.

Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to enquiries, requests for information and collaboration proposals: to manage and respond to the communication you send us. The legal basis is the application of pre-contractual measures at your request where applicable and, in other cases, Viromii's legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries addressed to it.
• Managing professional, client, supplier or collaboration relationships: to prepare, execute and manage the relevant relationship and comply with associated legal obligations. The legal bases are the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures and compliance with legal obligations.
• Job applications: to assess applications voluntarily submitted to Viromii and manage the relevant recruitment process. The legal basis is the application of pre-contractual measures at the candidate's request. Data will only be retained for future recruitment processes where there is an appropriate legal basis, such as the candidate's consent.
• Website security and operation: to protect the website and information systems, prevent abuse and diagnose technical incidents. The legal basis is Viromii's legitimate interest in maintaining the security and proper functioning of its digital services.
• Website analytics: where you choose to accept analytics, to measure visits and interactions and understand how the website is used so that Viromii can improve its content and performance. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie settings.

Viromii does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing through this website, nor does it create advertising profiles through the theme.

How long data is kept

Personal data will be kept for no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Enquiries will be retained while they are being handled and, where necessary, for the period required to address possible responsibilities. Data linked to contractual or professional relationships will be retained for the duration of the relationship and subsequently for the statutory limitation periods and legal retention obligations that may apply. Recruitment data will be retained for the relevant selection process and will not be kept for future processes without an appropriate legal basis.

Recipients and service providers

Personal data is not sold. It may be accessed by technology, hosting, email, maintenance or professional service providers acting on behalf of Viromii under the corresponding data-processing arrangements. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities, courts or other competent bodies where required by law.

When analytics is accepted, Google Analytics 4 (Google) acts as an analytics technology provider. Additional information is available in Google's privacy documentation.

International transfers

If a technology provider involves access to or processing of personal data outside the European Economic Area, Viromii will ensure that the transfer is covered by a valid GDPR mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another legally recognised safeguard.

Your rights

You may exercise, where applicable, your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, write to hello@viromii.com, indicating the right you wish to exercise and providing the information necessary to identify your request. As a general rule, a copy of your identity document is not required; additional information will only be requested if there are reasonable doubts about your identity.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) through www.aepd.es.

Minors

The website is not specifically directed at minors and Viromii does not intentionally request personal data from children through it. Where processing is based on the consent of a minor in Spain, the rules of the LOPDGDD apply, including the age threshold of 14 years and the requirement for parental or guardian consent where applicable.

Security

Viromii applies appropriate technical and organisational measures, taking into account the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing and the risks involved, in order to protect personal data against loss, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The current version will always be the one published on this website, together with its update date.

This policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on the Viromii website. It has been drafted in accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the criteria of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small files that a website may store on a user's device. Browsers also provide similar storage mechanisms, such as local storage, which can remember a preference without using a traditional cookie. The legal rules on device storage and access may apply to both cookies and comparable technologies.

What does this website use?

The website uses strictly necessary or functional local storage to remember preferences selected by the visitor and, only after express consent, Google Analytics 4 to measure use of the website. No advertising tag is activated by the theme.

• nuvoLang: first-party browser local storage used to remember the selected language. It remains until the preference is changed or site data is deleted.
• nuvoAnalyticsConsent: first-party browser local storage used only to remember whether analytics was accepted or rejected, so the website can respect that choice on later visits.
• _ga and _ga_*: Google Analytics cookies that may be set only after analytics is accepted. They are used to distinguish visits/users and measure website usage. Their duration is determined by the Google Analytics configuration and can be up to two years.

WordPress may also use strictly necessary technical cookies in authenticated or administrative areas, for example to manage a logged-in session. These cookies are not used to track public website visitors for advertising purposes.

Google Analytics 4 and Consent Mode

The website uses the Google Analytics 4 measurement ID G-VNXKHVM9TN. Analytics storage is denied by default. The Google Analytics library is not requested from Google and analytics events are not sent until the visitor chooses “Accept analytics”. Advertising-related consent signals remain denied.

If analytics is accepted, Viromii measures page views and selected interactions such as use of the technology search and filters, visits to technology pages and clicks on contact or LinkedIn links. Email addresses and the text typed into the technology search field are not sent as analytics event parameters.

Your choice

You can accept or reject analytics with equivalent controls when the notice is shown. Rejecting analytics does not prevent normal use of the website. You can change your choice at any time.

Change cookie settings

External links

The website includes links to third-party services, such as LinkedIn. Simply displaying a link does not mean that the third party is embedded in the Viromii website. When you choose to follow an external link, the destination website may use its own cookies or technologies under its own policies.

How to delete stored information
